Our analytical set-up supports both quantitative and qualitative analysis of pigment samples for various regulations. A slew of tests including identification of heavy metals, elemental analysis, PAA, APEO, banned amines, VOC, etc. are performed here.Backed by modern, state-of-the-art equipment such as Gas Chromatograph (GC), Thermo-Gravimetric Analyzer (TGA), High-Performance Liquid Chromatograph (HPLC), HPTLC, FTIR, GC-MS, and GC/MS-Mass spectroscopy, our analytical laboratories specialize in determining chemical and physical parameters as well as product characterization including—determining particle size, analysing inorganic and organic traces as well as a whole range of other parameters.
The laboratory bolsters our R&D efforts by providing a complete set up for all raw material inspections and pigments impurity profiles.

Thanks to the advanced testing instruments—HPLC and Spectrophotometers—at our R&D laboratory, we are able to ensure the consistency of standards of our pigments.

Application Laboratory
Quality is not a one-time promise but an everyday commitment at Pidilite. Thanks to our fully-equipped application laboratory, every batch of pigment we deliver is tested for its relevant application be it printing inks, paints and coatings, or plastics.
Powered by our well-qualified and trained technologists, we analyze and replicate the varied requirements of our domestic and overseas customers using a range of application testing equipment. Further, the data-driven support from IT equips our teams at R&D, Production, and Sales for quick decision making.
